What? Colin powell is a huge piece of shite. Pretty much every controversial American military action since vietnam has involved colin powell. So many innocent people have died and he blood is on his hands.

Also the first female member of Augusta National.
And has said numerous times her dream job is NFL Commisioner.

That would be a yuuuuuuge improvement over Goofdell. (Of course, so would a pile of manure.)

I wish they would hurry up and give it to her so they can kick Goodell out. Gary Chambers could do... Wait... Maybe that's a little too far.. But a lot of people out there can do a better job than what he is doing.

Like what?
He was successful during desert storm. The most controversial thing he has probably done was convince the world the US needed to bring down the Saddam regime, however; he was given CIA data that had been manipulated in order to convince him the US had to go into Iran... Because, president Bush, and others, at the time, knew that if they could sell Powell on it, he would be able to sell everyone else.

He worked hard and earned himself a place amongst the rich white people, no mean fete in the mid 1800s.

Tony Dungy was the first black head coach to coach in a Super Bowl.
What's cool about it is there was another coach that was ALSO the first black coach to coach a Super Bowl... Lovie Smith, on the other sideline coaching the Bears.
Was weird that it happened like that.
That was pretty remarkable, actually.

so you want a man that was duped by bush to be president? you really believe colin powell did not know the facts?
Do some research on colin powells role in covering up the My Lai Massacre in vietnam. Look some more into his role in the iran contra coverup.
Dude is a scumbag and not a man of honor like is portrayed.

There's a chapter on that in the book, Bloody Sundays, by Mike Freeman. Pretty good insight on her and IMO she'd be a legit commish. This was a pretty good write-up on her being selected for the playoff committee.

Powell was a hero of mine, and I still honor his service. But he's one of the key figures that made me a politcal atheist.
To hold up that vial of yellowcake and front a war that directly belied his namesake doctrine was, and is unforgivable. I defended that shite based on his reputation.
Condi is brilliant and beautiful, but had no business being NSA. I liked her as SOS.

I wanted Condi to run so bad in 2008.
Think she'd be a terrific commish. She is crazy intelligent.

If hypothetically Condi would have ran against any white male democratic, she would have swept the south.
I would have loved to see liberals spin that one.

I'd like to nominate volod to be highlighted in the next thread.

Yep. I wanna know if Powell was duped by the Bush.Cheney.Rumsfield crowd, or did he know and just fricking lie to us.
I generally like him, but he is tainted by the sales pitch he gave us on Iraq. He was either a sucker or a liar.

you really think a guy that made his way to SOS was duped on something as big as going to war with a country? look back at his past. colin powell has a history of telling lies and covering up what his puppet masters tell him to take care of. In exchange they build him up to be this great honorable man so that they can use him as a pawn.
not to mention he was recently busted for cheating on his wife of 50 years when his emails got hacked, but you never hear a peep about that in the media. That doesnt bother me as much as the other shite that he has done... but its just crazy seeing people blindly saying how great and honorable of a man powell is when he is really just a pawn and a piece of shite.
