Is this too much? Am I at the beginning stages of alcoholism ???

Just wear a condom when you drink them. That's the only way to prevent catching alcoholism.

Perfect amount. 3 ounces of hard liquor, 2 12 ounce beers or 10 ounces of wine are all good for daily consumption.

Nah, unless it's affecting your job/relationships.

If you drink everyday, you are an alcoholic outside of a glass of wine with dinner and a even that is pushing it if it's every single day.

Alcoholism is when drinking affects other areas of your life. If you're waking up too hungover to perform your job effectively, it is an issue. If you're drinking two cocktails but still getting everything done in your life and it isn't affecting your relationships, you're fine.

Please tell me you're joking

Alcoholism is a dependency on alcohol. If you find that you cannot function without drinking every day, then you may have a problem that requires assistance. Alcoholism is not a number. There are plenty of alcoholics that drink only on Friday and Saturday nights. The rest of the week they do not touch alcohol, but their life revolves around those drinking sessions and getting to those sessions every week.

How so? Are they going to blood test you to verify consumption amounts?

Some companies do blood tests
2 drinks every day will cause some peoples liver function tests to be high
Some people will be fine
Roll of the dice

For some reason, I trust the Mayo clinic more than you.....

Guidelines for moderate alcohol use
Moderate alcohol use for healthy adults means up to one drink a day for women of all ages and men older than age 65, and up to two drinks a day for men age 65 and younger.
Examples of one drink include:
Beer: 12 fluid ounces (355 milliliters)
Wine: 5 fluid ounces (148 milliliters)
Distilled spirits (80 proof): 1.5 fluid ounces (44 milliliters)
Moderate alcohol use may be of most benefit if you have existing risk factors for heart disease. However, you can take other steps to improve your heart health besides drinking — eating a healthy diet and exercising, for example, which have more robust research behind them.

Yes, they do take blood for life insurance. Glucose, Triglycerides, liver enzymes are all impacted by alcohol intake and will show up in blood work.
Here are the things measured for life insurance.
