In case you missed the news Disney has cut ties with PewDiePie today. Following that, YouTube cancelled his show and removed his channel from their ad program.

I couldn't care less about PewDiePie, but I do care about journalistic ethics, standards, and truth.
After watching h3h3's video on this, which shows the inception of this incident with the WSJ article, it all appears to have been taken grossly out of context - which shouldn't be surprising given the comportment of the media for the past year or so.

He still has his channel, which is the biggest on YouTube by quite a large margin.
I saw today he made $15Million alone in 2015, and I'm assuming much more in 2016 based off the continued YouTube success and the show, etc. The dude could quit right now and easily be happy.

I'm a fan of Pewds. He's made numerous videos about how media outlets take his jokes literally and blow them out of proportion saying how he's a Nazi and all this. It's funny that he's made videos mocking the media for portraying him as such and they still keep falling for the bait.
