“You’ve seen what happened in Paris, and Nice. All over Europe, it’s happening,” he said to the assembled military leaders. “It’s gotten to a point where it’s not even being reported. And in many cases the very, very dishonest press doesn’t want to report it. They have their reasons, and you understand that.”

Well, I suspect there is a lot of stuff that goes unreported or misreported, but there might be multiple reasons for that.

I wondered if Obama's plan was to take the wind out of the terrorist's sails... the same way you no longer see streakers when they run onto a playing field. Don't give them the coverage they want.

Shoot up some people as an ISIS guy, and you inspire the hordes. Call him a poorly adjusted closet homosexual, and his message is lost, and probably he and his family are permanently shamed- remember how adamant the family was that the shooter in Florida WASN'T gay? That was worse, in their eyes, than him being an extremist.

Maybe Trump's point is that things are going on, but we suppress it so much that the public thinks they are safe, and they're really not.

That one flew under the radar pretty good.

Saw it on a few fringe sites. Didn't see any major coverage of it.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you are a useful idiot who gets his news from Facebook and CNN and not a raging troll.

If you honestly want to know what the media does not report on you can use a simple google search.

1. Open google

2. Type in "list of terror attacks in Europoe"

3. Skip past the fake news stories at the top

4. Skip past the top link, Wikipedia, which only lists attacks that resulted in 10 deaths, conveniently leading people to think there have only been a handful of attacks in the past 15 years

5. Open the relion of peace link. LINK

6. There are about 100 listed. I bet you haven't heard of most of them

7. Get back to sucking your boyfriend's dick

Funny that semantics are important when you don't want to see reality.

Trump read something about the media not covering terror attacks on InfoWars, and now he's running with it as an actual thing.

he is a liar and a charlatan, over exaggerates and grandizes everything in some silly attempt to make people like him and believe even when he is demonstrably lying.

he has got to go, its obvious he has mental issues

Okay. It doesn't exist. There isn't one mention of such an attack, even on Breitbart or on local news sites.

Prove it does exist (hint: it doesn't)

It would be pretty hard to know...specifically.

I do know that not one single main stream media outlet had a single word on what is happening in Brazil.

That may not be traditional "Terror" I suppose, but it is significant. It is at least evidence of selective reporting.

Do you not feel that the Brazil story is news?

It doesn't exist you moron. I already said that. I was making a point of how stupid your thread is and, by default, you.

You'd think so, but the White House released a list of 78 "attaks" last night that they claim are emblematic of Trump's point.

Not a one was underreported.

You are a special kind of stupid. It was obvious from the beginning that I was being sarcastic. Only you and the other moron Cahoots took the bait. I just named two random cities in Europe.

So, this is the last 30 days...25 countries including the USA.

Like you, the administration is going all in on this unreported/underreported angle.

Trump released a list of underreported events and it includes the Nice attack. The same Nice attack that dominated the news for a while.

I think Trump overstates or exaggerates on purpose. Why? Because he knows the media will fall all over themselves "fact checking" him. In the process, they end up reporting things that they previously suppressed for their own agenda.

An example is Trumps "3.5 million illegal votes" statement. Previously, the media dismissed voter fraud. After "fact checking", media reports that it was only 800,000 fraudulent votes. The media is in such a hurry to bash him, they can't even see what he's doing. The media is being played, and it's so easy to see. Leftists and their media partners run on emotion and emotion only. Feelings overwhelm thought. That's why they can't see what he's doing to them.

This has been going on since the campaign, BTW.

OTOH, given leftist reticence to even mouth the term "Radical Islam", or given attempts to blame a US Ambassador's murder on a video rather than a group of radicalized animals, or to categorize Ft Hood as "workplace violence", how in the world could you assume certain acts of terror were not downplayed?

Here is a WashPo article on the topic: Obama’s disturbing pattern of playing down Islamic terror

See, now you're brining in Obama. Trump's comments concerned the media and European attacks. There will be exceptions to every rule, but for the most part, terrorist attacks are widely covered by the media across the world. Trump's angle is weak.
