Face it: we are a progressive nation

These ads have one purpose: to make those companies money. Do you really think if the vast majority of the country supported trump and his far right policies they'd run these ads?
They are appealing to the majority. Trump won because he focused on key areas and a key demographic allowing an EC victory. HRC had a poorly managed campaign but was widely more popular and won the popular vote.
The left and independents are now furious and motivated. A blue wave is coming in 2018 and 2020. Enjoy it while you can, the next 2 years will be the last of GOP relevancy

Hell...he might even get elected President if that was the case.
These companies can also be so obtuse that they are out of touch with reality. They aren't infallible.
