A few other posters have said it, but if you live in a city with SuitSupply you should check it out. Quality suits for a reasonable price. I have a navy and a gray that I always get compliments on.

Knot Standard is my place now. They have my measurements down and I love the product.

I thought this was the OT?

I fly my jet to Saville Row to get suits made.

Brooks Brothers for their lines or Dillard's for HS&M.

Custom tailored

My physique prohibits me from getting one off the rack even with extensive tailoring and it looks like crap; especially the pants.

no way I even have room for 13 new suits

Speaking of suits. I have an interview tomorrow morning at a really casual office. I think I'm going to go th back sports coat and chinos or slacks route and tie.. yeah?

Suitsupply is the best answer. Quality suit, unique material blends, custom tailoring, topnotch service, badass stores. Plus I know the owners

Unless you have a true reason to have a high end suit, 95% of the time fit of the suit and quality of the tailoring is always noticed more than the expensiveness of the suit. I've found a good tailor shop that will tailor any suit I buy for no more than $50. Then just look for good deals, my JOS Bank, Mens Warehouse, Macy's, clearance suits with after the fact tailoring look as good as my one "custom, expensive brand" suits. In fact I have a suit I got on clearance for $70 that always gets the more compliments.

Only drawback is those suits might not last as long, but I'm fine with buying one new suit each year and getting it customer tailored, and donating an old one to goodwill.

Sport coat, tie, and slacks.

Never hurts to be dressed well for an interview.

Yeah that's usually my go-to these days. I rarely wear an actual suit. Much more likely to piece an outfit together and throw on a sports coat and tie.
