Document the process. Take some pics. Let them try to fix but any push back or if not fixed, continue to document and request a replacement. Last resort is to sue them. They are prepared for that and neither of you want that. It'll cost you and them more so hopefully they fix it. Honda is almost bulletproof. Good luck and let us know where you bought.

I would not be happy with anything less than a brand new replacement atv. That's what the one you bought was (wrongly) portrayed as.

Exaactly, there will most likely be problems with that bike somewhere down the line.
I would only except a new bike or my money back. Not a damn thing else.

Exactly, and like I said, it's just my nature to give a reputable company the benefit of the doubt and work with them, however, not in this case..
Honda makes a damn fine product, so you should get what you paid for... I don't see any reason as to why you shouldn't get your money back or a new bike. I'd push them until I got what I deserved
Don't let this experience fool you, the rancher is one of the best four wheelers ever produced IMO.. I know there are bigger, more powerful four wheelers but I shite you not, I rode my 2001 350 rancher ES yesterday, and despite a little cosmetic wear and tear, that bike runs just like it did the day I bought it 16 years ago

Sorry to tell you the truth. But since oil wasn't checked before you took it and documented. From a dealer standpoint. You went out and flooded it somewhere and are wanting me to pay for the repairs since it is a "new" bike. and "under warranty" If not you would have immediately brought it too me the second you found the milky oil. But you didn't, you took it upon yourself to have oil changed and probably cleaned up the filthy muddy bike from where you sank it. Basically your trying to hide your screw up. Sorry. Your fault not on the dealer.

Rando, you hear anything good on those new Honda Rubicon's. Buying another ATV in the summer. Was going to go straight to a Yammy Grizzly but figured I'd at least go check out the Rubicon. DCT Deluxe, I like auto's these days.

See your point. The oil filter has obvious corrosion on it though. This thing had been stewing for a while. No way would corrosion set in in just 3 days. Deal with this on farm equipment every spring- only reason I caught it. Air box and Honda OEM air filter is pristine- not a speck of dust.
Maybe its coolant and a defective casting- even worse for the engine. Will be easy return at that point.

Spoke with corporate. They said bring the atv to the dealer. He asked why I had not already- I told him about the 100% negative feedback online (that I found after I bought the damn thing- yes I'm a dumbass). He said take pictures (already did) and we'll see what Blackstone shows.

Dealer and corporate said this is normal. Its just condensation. "Mechanic checked it out, so come get it"

Those shiny things are chunks of metal- also normal per Honda. For a shared sump engine, I could actually believe that....depending on wear metals in the oil analysis
