We'll be dealing with this bullshyte until that sawed-off, cocky prick leaves or retires at Bama.

Truth hurts. It really does suck.

He's doing it to south Florida too, FWIW. It's not just happening to us. All the studs either going to Bama or FSU. Miami can't keep any of their top So Fla targets local anymore.

Bama is a machine and the machine feeds itself.

High school athletes are bandwagoners to the nth degree. Gotta start beating Alabama and playing in highly regarded bowl games. Easy as that.

Top Program that took advantage of a coaching change and uncertainty. It's to be expected. Every program in the country was on our targets selling the uncertainty.

Obviously it's not a good thing, but this was probably the year to get Louisiana players. There was some uncertainty with the coaching change. I think if Miles is here maybe LSU gets Moses and Buggs (maybe not). But if that is the price to pay for making a change at the top, so be it. I don't know how he will do as a HC, but I think O will continue to make it a priority to lock up LA.

You have to remember, O couldn't full-bore recruit during the season because he didn't know if he would be at LSU next year or in what capacity. He only got the permanent job in late Nov., which basically left him 2 months to fully catch up. Couple that with some instability on the asst. coach side (i.e. no OC; loss of Peveto who was a good recruiter) and it led to some questions for recruits.

If it's a huge problem next season, then I'd start to worry. Right now I think the coaching change played a big role. Other schools pillaged Georgia with the coaching change last season. This year, Smart has done a really good job of closing that wall.
