I fu**ing hate Bama and that little bastard they have as a coach. I'm tired of them stealing good recruits out of La.

Dude going to Bama and they have a new OC & no WR coach.

You think he's getting the SRT Challenger or just the RT?

Isn't that interesting. Just happen to visit at the same time or day during the dead period.

You always hate to lose in-state kids to your biggest rival and THE team you have to beat to win a championship. However, I'd much rather lose a receiver or RB than a OL/DL player.

You never want to, but LSU can absorb the loss of a WR better than the loss of a lineman. Given the choice, I'd rather lose Smith to Bama than Mathis.

Recruits who go out of state do get a larger cost of attendance stipend. It's a couple thousand more than what in state students will get. If the decision is close it most definitely could be a deciding factor.

It's probably something that needs to be addressed going forward.

Could explain why a kid from Scotlandville would go out of state other than just no chest.

Well the "Devonta is all LSU" crowd was fun for a while, but it was all a facade.

I think LSU pays a little over 3000 while Alabama pays well over 5000. It gets paid out in 9 monthly payments. Bama is paying out 600+ while LSU is paying out 300+. The money can be used for a monthly car payment and 600+ will get a much better vehicle.

The NCAA opened a can of worms with the cost of attendance stipends and there is no real regulation of what the cost are. They can be easily be manipulated to pay out more if universities are willing to foot the bill.

The dead period wasn't yesterday. Him visiting on campus was legit.
