re: Study shows: Women think very low of men in minivans

According to a new survey by Insure.com
From January 2014
quote:
women say that attractive men tend to drive black Ford pickup trucks
That is quite a leap. Survey results indicate that women find that attractive men drive pickup trucks (32%), the top brand of cars for attractive men is Ford (16%), and that the color of cars that attractive men drive is black (53%). Combining the top three results does not indicate that a black Ford pickup is what women indicate what attractive men drive. That sort of logic is faulty and presenting it as fact is very troublesome.

Cigarettes and trash
Both genders are most turned off by vehicles with cigarette butts in the ashtray, according to survey results.
quote:
Auto-related turn-offs were:
Cigarette butts in the ashtray. (Women: 23%. Men: 23%.)
Only 23% of men and 23% of women surveyed found cigarette butts in the ashtray as a turnoff? Only one in four people found it trashy for someone to smoke inside their own vehicle? I was not expecting this, nor do I expect this in real life.
quote:
Insure.com surveyed 2,000 licensed drivers age 18 and over, split evenly between men and women and divided across age groups and regions. The online-panel survey was fielded in December 2013.
...without posting the entire findings of the survey, how the online-panel was conducted, or explaining their definition of age groups or regions. Yep I will totally believe everything from the results of the survey and this throwaway article from a website called, what was it again? Oh yeah, never heard of it before or since 2014.

I know you don't want to believe it. But women who see you in a minivan do not consider sex with you to be something even remotely appealing.

Do you want to believe that 77% of women don't find it trashy to see cigarette butts in the ashtray? Because the same surveyed women didn't view it as a turnoff.

I think 75% of women surveyed prefer men in either a truck, a sports car or a SUV.

Like they say, when you have haters.. you are doing something right.. But the amount of hate you have for me goes beyond the average hater. I can't figure it out bro.

Lots of women hate minivans until they have a few kids and realize how practical they really are.
My wife said she would never drive a minivan prior to us getting married 5 yrs ago. We now have 2 kids and a 3rd on the way and we have a minivan in the driveway. She isn't super thrilled but after test driving it she realized it was the best option for tote around our crew.

b-b-but the sliding door
Women look at dudes in minivans as losers. Even married women. Some of the women polled were married and have kids.
You can have your sliding door while your wife in sneaking off with Rusty in his black F250 to a hotel to get her arse plowed.

I wouldn't mind driving a minivan once I have a couple of kids. Truly don't have anything against them.
But that's not what this study is talking about. It's talking about what type of car does the "most attactive" guy drive? If we're assuming a guy at the height of his attractiveness is probably in his 20s-30s, those guys are probably driving a sports car or a truck. Because those guys are usually college aged and single.

Michael Schumacher drove a mini van.
He was the GOAT.
Women are stupid. In other news the earth continues to spin for some reason.

If you have to argue that your vehicle is not a minivan, it's a minivan.

I drive a Toyota Tundra and Sienna. I wonder what that makes me?

Well he's not arguing that it's not a minivan, he's telling you. You posted a picture of an SUV and called it a van. That doesn't make it a van.
