Apparent logic behind Travis Etienne's decision that some are not grasping

Ok, so I see some members stating that Clemson jumped in later than LSU, so he should feel the same about both schools.
Here's the thing, Travis knows he is a skilled athlete (says 34 offers nationwide). However, LSU clearly had no genuine interest in his skill at RB (some will say coaching changes or whatever).
So why would he pick Clemson over LSU? Clemson is not 1hr and 30 minutes away from Jennings. That says LSU saw less of him as RB although he was the closest to them. The push could have been harder (IMO). Oh but now, after being DENIED by Akers... he's supposed to be honored and super excited to be receiving a scholarship from LSU (dude been excited and knew he was gonna be playing on the next level long ago).
There is plenty of Reason to go to Clemson (from a black kid in Jennings perspective): •1st, it's 11 hours away from the mean streets of Jennings. It's so easy to get into trouble in Southern Louisiana and hard as hell to get out. It could simply mean being in the wrong place at the wrong time (google Jawon Lennette). Good kids aren't exempt from danger. So going to an environment away from home doesn't seem like a bad idea.
•2nd, if I had to choose between a team that just won a National championship and beat Bama (something LSU has not been able to do here lately) or a team that's literally down the street (that's was not crazy about my skill at RB), it's a No brainer to a kids with confidence and and strong family backing (that will travel to see him play).
•3rd, Travis is God fearing, intelligent, educated, humble, hard working, and has a gift from God. That's all the components an individual will need to be successful in whatever endeavors he will pursue. NFL, Corporate America, Communities, ect.
My insight on this topic is as straight as it gets.
So before someone decides to start a thread bashing this 18 year old young man for making a life changing decision... understand, he knows fans aren't loyal (just look at the threads about him), some LSU fans are really crazy lol. Y'all would make a kid think twice about coming here! But some fans understand this is not their choice, so they don't get so butt hurt about a recruits decision.
But you never know, Travis may stay home because regardless of what I'm saying, it's still his choice and nobody knows but him.
So tune in at 5pm today!
By the way, if you are reading this TJ:

So a recruit may not come to his state flagship program because a few idiots on a message board posted something he doesn't like?
That's the very definition of stupidity.

But you posting about it... hmmm? ??

He's going to Clemson and that's ok. People need to quit losing their shite over this.

Aside from the Akers thing, I'm sure he also looks at CEH and concludes that he's not even the staff's first choice from within the state. I know CEH committed to Miles a year ago, and wasn't necessarily an Orgeron deal, but TE's still got to have hurt feelings about that.

Good post. If you think Clemson people give a shite about him more than LSU, you're fooling yourself. Stupid fans are everywhere and at every school.

Travis good luck....you still wont be a part of the LSU running back legacy but nice rationalizing.

Tell him to have fun fighting for the privledge to be the 3rd or 4th guy mentioned when talking about Clemson's offense. Last I checked, the starting RB for LSU is ALWAYS the first name talked about on offense. That wasn't just under Miles, either. It's been that way for a long, long time.
But kids are going to go where they're going to go.
