Anything across the tracks is troubled. Where 90% of blacks live. Please research and see how many young men between the age of 17-35 years have been killed or arrested in Jennings over the past 10 years. Not everyone was a trouble maker. Based on the population that's enough to concern an individual looking for a way out. You can't begin to fathom what goes on if you don't live there. #Facts but yes, that sucks that they were dragging their feet

In this case I say roll out TE. LSU slow played him while he got offers from other top programs, can't hate on the kid.

Well you know him better than posters on here. I wish him luck where ever he decides to continue his career. But saying that i am a LSU homer, lol, and i am greedy. Would love for him to come to LSU, play with the best running back in college football next year, then take over the reins the next two years and then become a multi millionaire and a home grown hero. Im like you, i think he has that kind of talent. God given.

So lsu was supposed to not recruit cam Akers when we have signed Leonard Fournette, Darius guice which are transcendent backs. Right?

When I was 18 I wanted to go to Georgetown, Baylor, Pepperdine or Wake Forest. That makes sense, right? There was no logic, only emotion. In the end, I decided I wanted to go to LSU, so I did. There was not a lot of solid analysis involved though, because I was 18. Jesus I was clueless. It's good to know kid's today are just as clueless. Because Good Lord, the shite I didn't understand would fill whole volumes of books.

So let's call it what it is...it's just like every other neighborhood of the sort in America. And for the record, Jennings isn't in Baton Rouge, so get out with that shite that he's got to get out of Jennings and go to Clemson. Baton Rouge is out of Jennings. Quit making excuses and justifying stuff. He got his feelings hurt, and wants to spurn LSU. That's cool. But call it what it is.

You a clown... Race baiting? ?????? I'm not a douche bc I'm discussing for somebody I know and related to, you're a douche bc you sound like a box of saltine crackers (salty af). 1, I wanted to see him in purple and gold just as much as others on this forum. 2, I don't even live in Jennings anymore (10+ years since I left) but my family Is rooted there so no small town mentality here, and attention has never been something I needed. Simply doing what you are doing, being a fan. Just so happen I'm his fan and not just a school fan. I like LSU, it's the home team! But it's family over everything. So with that being said, It's my opinion and the response you gave was yours. I called him "my people" so idk what else you wanted me to say. (oops my bad, that's that small town Jennings talk ????) but hey, what do I know I'm just an attention seeking douche. Go start you a thread since your feelings hurt for whatever reason! you came on the post hating strong, SOMEBODY get him some milk!!! He need some milk!

If he wants to go to Clemson, who am I to tell him otherwise. I would just caution that if Clemson is truly where he wants to go, then roll with it, but if he is going there because he is mad at someone else, then he's setting himself up for some regret regardless of how much potential he has.

This is a grown-up decision and needs to be made from some rational thought not just emotion. Hopefully that is what he is doing.

I don't think that's the case. I think it's his choice and that's all I can say about that in particular.

He'll get a couple carries being second fiddle to their next QB in ACC shootouts

I can understand if he just likes Clemson and what it has to offer, but letting pride get in the way gets you nowhere.

Let's say I was a candidate for a job I really wanted, but I hadn't received an offer for a year. I knew that HR was pursuing candidates with more experience and better skillsets. My company was competing with multiple other companies to hire these candidates, and the others decide to go elsewhere.

If the time comes and I get offered the job before I receive any other offers from outside companies, you better believe I am taking my dream job. I don't take my ball and go home because I let pride get in the way.

If I'm following the OP's premise, the main reason for choosing Clemson is its distance from Jennings. Maybe the staff picked up on this early on and chose to focus on Akers who showed genuine interest in LSU.

I like Dabo. He's one of the good guys in coaching. But for the OP to bring up our recent record vs Bama rings hollow. It wasn't that long ago that the Ol' Ball Coach schooled Dabo five straight years. There's a read Les was canned and trends change.

I really wish TE would play in P&G but some of the reasoning in the OP is inconsistent.

Both LSU and Clemson lost out on a higher ranked running back and offered TE late. Not sure why LSU doing it is so much worse. Cause they're closer? That's stupid.

So a recruit may not come to his state flagship program because a few idiots on a message board posted something he doesn't like? That's the very definition of stupidity.

Does that make him immune from feeling some type of way? Stop being so fricking narrow-minded because it doesn't fit your narrative.

Sounds like sour grapes he wasn't offered earlier by LSU.
