I think the Left is finally realizing that Mexico will be paying for the Wall

They've been melting pretty hard over this issue after moving the goalpost to 'Well taxpayers will initially foot the bill.'
When they act out, it's because they realize they were wrong and can't handle it.

Mexico will do what the hell they're told to do.

When you have a trade imbalance as lobsided as Mexico does with the US, you're going to make big accommodations to your customer.

They don't have the money to pay for their own infrastructure. They ain't paying for any wall.

Mexico will pay for the wall if they can find a way that the Mexican president can save face over the issue. We cannot embarrass the Mexican people, that is what sowed the seeds of WWII in Germany. That is the one thing that concerns me with the Art of the Deal mentality. You cannot stick it in the face of other countries all the time as the superpower, we must at some point turn magnanimous in victory.

Nonsense. We either tax remittances or they agree to a payment plan (Or a combination of both)
Peña Nieto will likely see Trump's raise and Trump will call for a tax on remittances

They will pay for it directly or indirectly. There's a lot of money that flows from the U.S. to Mexico.....

Pena Nieto took a meeting with Trump back in the summer when no one else would. I doubt Trump will rub this whole thing in his face and will reach some face saving accord for Pena Nieto, but Mexico is going to pay for that wall one way or another.

I still don't understand why people are doubting this man. Everyone that stood in his way either got steamrolled or joined the cause. There is a revolution occurring and it is Making America Great Again.

About how it looks now. You think they'd learn at some point. I don't even try having discussions with any of them anymore. Bashing my head into the wall is more productive.

$15 billion in remittances in 2015 alone. Seems like an easy tax target to have Mexico pay for that wall.

Don't act as if Nieto accepted Trump's meeting. They offered Trump a meeting, they did Trump no favors

Their leverage is simply that, while we may want to move toward "American made" as much as possible, no one really wants a dramatic shift and the ensuing shortages of goods, and Trump doesn't want to be the guy that causes that.
Obviously we hold most of the cards, but they do have some leverage.
