IS there any sit-com that can supplant Seinfeld as the GOAT?

I can't think of one.

That depends: Do you consider Always Sunny in Philadelphia a sitcom? IF so, then yes.

I don't think you know what "can supplant" means.

I'll say this about Seinfeld. It doesn't hold up for me. I recently watched a bunch of episodes on TBS and even some of the all-time great episodes were just kind of meh. I'm older now so that could have something do with it I guess.

That is usually the opposite of what most people say.
Its timeless comedy to me and gets better with age.

Theyre really not nearly as funny as people remember. Kramer is goofy but not funny. I still like some of the Jerry-Elaine conversations. Those were always my favorite.

I think I love Lucy is the goat sitcom and it's held up very well

Seinfeld is a good man. A swell human being.

That has has not been my experience at all. In fact, I think one of man's greatest recent achievements has been the remastering of Seinfeld to widescreen.

The soup nazi, the chinese restaurant, the puffy shirt.... all episodes widely considered in the top 10 of Seinfeld episodes. I've seen them all recently and was actually shocked at how little I enjoyed them since I saw them originally.

I can think of several, but I've never been a Seinfeld fan.

The Simpsons, if they can manage some kind of resurgence.
It has been on for nearly 30 years.
I don't know if anyone still watches it.

It still leads Sundays in the coveted 18-49yr old demographic when football isn't on.
