Why do people buy/drive trucks?

They are generally low self esteem and low intelligence people who get off riding 2 feet above other drivers.

They don't have the intelligence and foresight to realize that their truck is parked the vast majority of the time.

They are so inconsiderate that they have no problem inconveniencing everyone else they park near. Their truck is so large that it takes up well over one parking space making it impossible for drivers to pass each other in a parking lot. All drivers must pass one at a time instead of the designed two-lane passing.

They don't understand that other drivers can not see over/under/around or thru their truck and that they are responsible for traffic accidents.

Anyone with average intelligence understands what type of person drives a truck, rude inconsiderate people.

Thank you for listening.

Maybe one day when you get friends or possessions and need to move, you will appreciate a truck.

The camaro has its trade offs like a truck does but in return I get a really fast car that is actually comfortable with magnetic ride control.

First off you're a dumbass..

Second, you can get the exact same magnetic ride control on GMC trucks, Suburban,Yukon's, Escalade..Etc.

Plus the only reason it's on the SS is to select between driving conditions for track and such so its still truly tuned for a tighter ride.

While yes trucks are not the most nimble or economical they still serve a purpose and will always stay popular. Doesn't take a genius to grasp this.

I'm not claiming it's practical. I'm saying the people who get a truck because they think they aren't a man without one have the ghey. I like the saying smiles per gallon. So either I'm trying to get a practical car (mpg, insurance cost, initial cost, reliability) or a car that will make me happy the most. And not the joy that people have just owning a car but the joy of driving it. I prefer speed but some people like my friends off road and that's fine. I should have made it more clear in the beginning but my beef is with people who get a "luxury truck" and think they are better than normal motorists. I just feel like they made a dumb decision because they care too much what other people might think.

Pretty much proves you are the one with the ghey here.

Apparently you are the one getting his panties twisted over what somebody else is driving. Think about that.

All of that applies to those that own trucks. Oh, and fullsize trucks and SUV's top the list for longevity and reliability. Same people have plenty of joy driving their trucks and blowing the doors off little pissants like you too ( at you preferring speed).

I have an F-150 with the big V-8. I love the power and the comfort of the drive on a long trip. Also, if you hunt and/or fish, a truck is handy to have. I also have a Ford Explorer with a V-6, but I am not going to take the chance of tearing up that transmission when hauling my boat. The truck is big and powerful enough to pull the boat comfortably.

Why do people start stupid threads on shite that doesn't affect them.

Clearly people who need a truck drive a truck.

Honestly, 3/10 people actually need a truck for hauling, etc, and 7/10 people buy them as an SUV that can move a dryer once every 5 years.

I used to be considerate, but since this guy lumps all truck drivers into the same group I might as well start driving and parking like a prick. fricking crybaby.

I drive a truck so that you can ask me to help you move/haul something, and I get to see the look in your face when I say NO
