Wrong. Half of you were too butt hurt to even answer the question. The other half explained why they need a truck like having a boat and there isn't anything wrong with that

I just know a whole bunch of "men" who own "man trucks" who are compensating and it's just for show.

Are you saying they never need to haul shite?

Just another OT thread where people are projecting their own feelings on others.

You don't think very well then. Like I said, OP was dumb.

First things first, because I can and the freedoms this country allows me says I can if I want to.

Pulling my utility trailer is hard to do in an altima. I can't pull my boat with one either. I use the bed of my truck for hauling things I wouldn't want to put in the trunk of a car.

Not everyone's life is like your life. Because it's not something required in your life doesn't mean it shouldn't be in anyone else's life.

I'm not talking to the few people who use a truck as intended so calm down. I'm mainly talking to the demographic who gets an expensive fully loaded truck that is then afraid to wear muddy shoes in it and get a scratch on it. Or the people who spend thousands to lift it so then you sacrifice comfort, ease of use, visibility, even more mpg and so on

No different than someone putting performance equipment on a car that they only drive on city streets. People like to accessorize stuff. That's nothing new.

I would get a Colorado and sports car and probably still spend less. Maybe get a luxury sedan

You obviously haven't priced either one of these, or you are talking about an $80k car

I drove my full size F150 (V8) on a relatively short road trip, all interstate, and got just over 26 mpg. My daily commute average is 19 mpg. Mpg isn't an issue. Four full size doors seats 5 very comfortably, I have the full center console, and the ride is amazing. I'm also a DIY person so I use the truck as a truck all the time.

No lie, I do miss having a trunk. So much crap accumulates in my back seat that would have previously been thrown in my trunk

I like the ride height, i like body on frame vehicles, i like rear wheel drive, I like having the ability to pull whatever I may need (boat, tailgate trailer, my jeep before I sold it), I like being able to throw stuff in the bed without having to worry about it fitting in a car.

I shouldn't have to explain it as I didn't buy it with your money, but there is your explanation.

Because they have small dicks and need a big truck to make them look more like a man than a clit

Some of them, absolutely saying that....they have like 0 scratches in the bed paint. A lot of others could easily get away with renting or borrowing a truck twice a year.

I'm just saying I do a good bit of outdoor activities and hands on type stuff compared to the average person. And I can get by without one. So why can't others?

I'm not against someone owning a truck if they want one. Just think it's goofy how many people think they "need" one.

Doesn't fit in my garage with the trailer hitch in, and I'm too lazy to take it out.

OP,
Why do people who dont have trucks always call me when they need to move something besides their groceries?
Because its useful.

And I have a turbo ecodiesal.
It's efficient (mpg) and as fast as I need it to be when I need that too.
