For $25 million, you have to..

kill one of the following; mountain lion, gorilla, regular lion, tiger, grizzly bear, or a great white shark. Your weapons are a 6' long piece of 1" steel pipe and any knife in your kitchen. Would you do it and which animal would you choose?

Absolutely. I'd choose the mountain lion bc he seems "easier" than the others imo.

I think i'd right off grizzly and gorilla immediately.. Far too much mass for me to do much damage with a knife, even a really nice one.
Lions and mountain lions, and tigers also seem like they would be difficult.
The easy answer is great white shark as the fact they live in water makes me feel like i have a fighting chance as long as I don't end up in the water.

Everything else you labeled is a land animal.
If the shark has to fight me on land, I'll take the shark.
Assuming the Shark (and myself) will be in the water...
I'd go in this order:
Shark (on land) > Shark (in water) > Gorilla > Bear

Tiger's wife tried that a few years ago and although she did not kill Tiger she put up a good effort and got much more than 25 million

Duct tape a butcher knife to end of the pipe and stab the shark. All of the other animal have hands/paws plus a mouth. The shark only has a mouth.

I mean, he can stay in the water and i can be in a boat.
being in the water with him and a knife is going to be difficult as the resistance of the water will make it difficult to swing/stab the knife with enough force.
