Move team to Bham.

As part of move you get to be in eastern conference in Atl's division.

I didn't read through the thread, but there's only one legit answer IMO:

Get lucky and strike it rich in the draft

With AD and Holiday, we'll always be too good for a high draft pick, short of pulling off a miracle and winning the lottery. So we won't be drafting high, so we just have to get uber lucky and draft a dude who turns out to be a superstar. That's the only way as we'll never get a true star through free agency.

The real answer is have an owner that is young-ish, smart, energetic, and understands basketball (and wants to keep the team in NOLA which is unlikely).

An owner would make a gigantic difference.

Heres mine. Trade AD to lakers today. Get back three #1s.

So trade a superstar for the hopes that we land a superstar?

He seems delicate. oft-injured. If you can get three #1's, you re ahead of the game.

I accept that many #1's do not pan out and that AD is a unique talent.

I am not betting on AD to last until the Pels reach the finals.
Therefore, I am getting maximum value. Not worrying if he will stay.

there are some hall of famers you can think of who were never injured.
Bird? bad back in his old age.
McHale, a severe sprained ankle (broken?) late in career.
MJ? never
Dominique Not that I recall.
K Malone
Sir Charles

Therefore, I surmise that AD's body cannot stand the pounding.
Ok.
I move him while I can get a ton for him.

Hayward is who I want on this team. We will never get a KD, Lebron, etc.

Hayward won't leave though. Jazz are trending up

find a kawhi leonard.
find a chris paul

I think that'd put us on par with the top 3 teams from the west.
this team would win the west.
