No, because I realised that Clinton was a terrible candidate, and the only possible person who could lose to Trump would be Clinton (and vice versa).

ETA:

FFS, most of you Trumpkins actually agree more with Fillon than Le Pen, but because Bannon likes Le Pen, you like Le Pen. It's madness.

If Le Pen wins does the French government and media make a huge hoopla about the United States and Trump attempting to "influence" their election? That would be grand.

But of what? If there is a better candidate for the US, why am I supposed to give a shite about some anti-globalist crusade more so than a leader aligned better with our interests?

What's the end game? I think the EU presents security concerns, and I get why Trump supporters want to curb America's globalist outlook. But why am I supposed to invest in the destruction of the EU?

No. But the member countries not meeting the indirect spending 2% GDP criteria need to do so to remain members, at least, and we need to look at lowering our current $500 million (22.2%) direct funding input to NATO and forcing the member countries that receive the most benefit from our direct and indirect spending to provide more direct funding to NATO.

Every single time some Trump supporter on here mentions Brexit, they lose all of their credibility.
How so? Brexit is a valid recent example of the fallibility of polling firms. You don't agree?

Again I will ask, how is it beneficial if the EU breaks apart?

No one has answered my question which I posted on the previous page.

Would you want your son to die in a war in defense of Turkey?

I'd rather that than having him/her die in the defense of the Emir of Kuwait.

Yes, the money we spend to protect other NATO countries allows them to divert money that would be spent on defense, to the support of their socialist programs.

These are then used to criticize the US for not having these same socialist programs, which we can't afford because we are defending the world.

If we get back to a North Atlantic Treaty where the countries actually fulfill their obligations and the US isn't the only party defending liberal western hegemony globally, I'd be in favor of it. A NATO where the US is just the world police and foots the bill for it to boot? We should all be opposed to that.

My major qualm with the EU the self-destructive policy of importing Islam and it's future impact on Europe through relatively high birth rates and exponentially higher welfare usage rates.

The Nationalists in Europe are standing in the way of that

I agree this is an issue that Europe needs to change its policy on.

However, both France and the Netherlands have former colonies which are predominantly Muslim. They both had, prior to the formation of the EU, a policy of allowing almost unfettered immigration from their former Muslim colonies. A dissolution of the EU would not affect their own national policies.

So they would have to change their own national policies even if the EU were to dissolve in order to solve the problems you mentioned.

Countries regain their sovereignty from un-elected bureaucrats and they can then act in their own best interests and do things that work best for them.
