I don't know why but I expected the hawk to be white.

Wish it had the location so we could identify the snake.

Snakes will get into hay windrows during the summer. One of the toughest guys I know screamed like a schoolgirl watching Justin Bieber when a snake got baled and came out of the bale and down his shirt while we were hauling hay. It was a big chicken snake.

I once had a red tailed hawk pull a huge rat snake out of a hole in the ground like 4 feet from me on my back patio. I had just walked outside at the exact moment it swooped and grabbed and flew off.

I ran like a little fricking girl

It was close enough to me I could’ve grabbed the bird or the dangling snake as it flew off. Nature rules.
