Or is he just that bad of a coach now?
Or does he need a binder?
Or was his price to steep?

As somebody on here said a few weeks ago, tank the interview, hit the beach and enjoy the buyout.

He did not interview. He was busy being a dad at his daughter bball game.

Or maybe he's too old for some programs now?

He has to look like he is looking. I don't think he wants the jobs. Then he gets his buyout and can go work at ESPN or whatever. Take over for Corso, lol.

This has something to do with it. I posted an article last month that, from sources, the staff he was proposing in interviews seemed to be too far fetched or impossible to get, and even if Les could get them all, would be way too expensive for the schools he was interviewing with.

I was told over 2 months ago that Les was getting zero feelers from schools; even small schools. As in, his agents were contacting teams that had openings, and they were either being told "no" or just being ignored. It wouldn't surprise me at all to hear that he had zero conversations with Minnesota and that his agents were leaking that in an effort to get an interview.

He's done. Hopefully he resurrects himself on TV. He can't be worse than Mack brown.

The Missouri game was the ultimate indictment of the Miles/Cam Era. A guy who hadn't called plays in 20 years racks up record SEC yds total for LSU by simply calling plays Miles/Cam wouldn't. Nothing fancy just making slight adjustments.
Potential suitors were paying attention.

Here is the first and only question an AD will ask Les.
"Les, you had the most future NFL players on offense in CFB and still had an anemic offense, how will you have a successful offense with less talent?"

Mack Brown is terrible. But he could have a major stroke and still make much more sense than Les Miles on his best day.

Les goes into these interviews and makes fart sounds from his armpit. Just gotta show up to give the appearance of trying to be gainfully employed.

Nah. All that really did is show just how talented LSU is. It was damn near what LSU did just in 2015 to South Carolina
LSU 45
South Carolina 24
LSU 624 yards 83 plays
LSU 42
Mizzu 7
LSU 634 yards 82 plays
Harris 18/28 (64.3%) 228 yards (8.1 ypa) 2 TDs 0 ints
Etling 19/30 (63.3%) 216 yards (7.2 ypa)
Fournette 20 car 158 yards (7.9 ypc) 1 TD
Guice 16 car 161 yards (10.1 ypc) 1 TD
Guice 17 car 163 yards (9.6 ypc) 3 TDs
Williams 21 car 130 yards (6.2 ypc) 3 TDs

Many head coaches who get fired will sit out a year before taking the plunge again. Miles just needs to chill for a year. Getting fired in mid-season is an extra disgrace. The shite needs a little time to settle. He'll get his chance next year.

i think he knows the longer he's out the harder it's gonna be for him to get a job. and lol at anyone who thinks he's interviewing at all these jobs to satisfy the terms of his buyout. plenty of coaches get fired with buyout and but you never hear about them trying as hard as les. dude wants to coach again but now everyone has caught on to his little scam. he won't ever coach in major college football again.

The people claiming that Miles is intentionally sabotaging these interviews are delusional. He's desperate to return to coaching. Everything he has said and done (including retaining a new agent) indicates that. Moreover, Miles gets his buyout irrespective of whether or not he actively searches for other jobs. It's not predicated on Miles conducting some good faith effort to secure other jobs. It's not a breach of contract claim, he doesn't have to mitigate.
The truth is he wants to coach, but none of these schools have wanted him.
