Very impressed! Chazelle has balls of steel to pull this off as his second film and it paid off.

Did not go in expecting to like a Musical/Rom-Com as much as I did.

If you are like me and hate seeing the Cinema be broken down to SJW-influenced reboots and rehashing of old stories, support this wonderful, ORIGINAL work of art.

You won't be disappointed

Went and saw it with my wife last night and we both enjoyed it a lot. Wife is planning on going to see it again. Gosling and Stone were fantastic

Have a newborn and haven't been able to get to any movies lately...

Really trying to get out to see Nocturnal Animals & LaLaLand.

Very interested in seeing this. Love Whiplash, and this looks great. I have a soft spot for musicals.

Just got out of it. Decent movie. Don't think it's the best of the year though

"SJW"

Good God ... There it is again. You know, I got a tuna salad sandwich today and the SJW waitress gave me too liberal of a squirt of maionnase .. Cause you know, she's liberal and stuff,

Loved this movie. Loved that Ryan Gosling spent 4 months learning to play the piano and did an incredible job. He and Emma Stone were perfect.

Absolutely love this movie. I flip flop between La la Land, Hell or High Water and Arrival for best movie of the year.

Wife and I just saw it. Good movie, but wasn't as crazy about it as some of you. Gosling and Stone were convincing in their roles. Ending was clever. Overall worth the trip to the theater, but nothing spectacular. Just my opinion.

It reminded me of Birdman, in that even if it's not your thing, it's a must see if you dig artful and unique cinema.

The opening freeway scene is unforgettable.

Just saw it tonight and it was absolutely excellent and worthy of being the best picture of the year.

Saw it today

What an impressive movie. It's incredible that Chazelle is just 31 years old and has made 2 of the best movies of the last few years to start his career

I'm not a fan of musicals by any means, and the first 15 minutes of this movie had me worrying that it would be way too much song and dance, but damn it just turned in to a very good movie. I'll have zero issue when this wins Best Pitcure at the Oscars and will just laugh at all the jackasses who won't see it and complain that Hollywood is just giving another movie about hollywood an award

Watched La La Land last. 3 things:

1. I am watching it again this weekend.
2. I am learning how to play that song that's played throughout the movie (City of Stars).
3. Favorite movie I've seen in a while.

Just saw it tonight. GREAT movie. Usually not into "rom-coms", but this was a very well done film all around. My wife loved it but hated the end. I liked the end, just enough of a tug on the heart strings.
