He's done all he can at college. He's got the statue already at Alabama and he'll never be considered better than the Bear.

In today's NFL five years is the time line for winning a superbowl with a new coach and staff. He'll be in his late 60s then and time to retire anyways and he doesn't plan to retire in Alabama anyways so why should he give a shite if some Gumps are mad at him.

Los Angeles is the perfect job for him. It's a place free agents and draft picks will want to play and he can just focus on football and not worry about his players training some girl from Huntsville.

He's better than Bear could even dream of being. He is the GOAT. Not even a question anymore.

If Saban wins the NC this year...

Bear will become second fiddle in Bama

Being a NFL head coach is a pretty thankless job. How many NFL head coaches are idolized/beloved by their team's fan bases? I would say Pete Carroll with the Seahawks and Bill Belichick with the Patriots and that's basically it. Gary Kubiak won the Super Bowl last year and there's a nine page thread on Orangemane calling for his firing and top notch coaches like Mike Tomlin and John Harbaugh are often heavily criticized by their team's fan bases.

I don't think you'll find many Alabama fans that agree about this anymore.

He's not leaving and he doesn't need to for his legacy. However I am surprised that he hasn't gotten bored. He's obviously a competitive person and he has built bama into a cheat code. He's the number one online madden player playing the computer on rookie. He gets essentially whatever player he wants so his team is far more talented than anyone else. He gets whatever hires he wants and has a shadow staff of what 30? He has whatever facilities he wants.

At a certain point it has to get boring for a guy like that.

I would encourage him to move to the NFL as well.

I have so much respect for him I'd even drive to Tuscaloosa to help pack his shite and load the truck.
