Gus Malzahn & Ryan Mallett to Tennessee????

i have several buddies close to the Arkansas program that once thought Ryan Mallett was going to transfer to Arkansas....Since Gus Malzahn has been contacted about the Tennessee OC job - Ryan and his QB coach from Michigan are in discussions about heading there.

scott loeffler, former QB coach at michigan also just interviewed at UT.

Considering what Gus has done at Tulsa, getting him alone would be the greatest thing to happen to UT since Arky's fumble in 98.

mallett will be sticking at UofM at least through spring practice to see if he likes the new offense....might as well cause if he leaves now he will lose even a spring practice at another school...i think he checks it out and like the new O and sticks around...though this may hurt the terrell pryor signing....damn

Why would Mallet leave a spread offense to play under a OC who runs a version of the same?

Everybody in the hognation is close to the program, just ask them. You can ask your buddies who their first choice was to replace Nutt and I bet over half of them will say Petrino eventhough his name was about the seventh or eighth one mentioned when looking for a replacement.
