re: Oscar's for lunch

Already did. See the previous post about the amount, quality, and type of toppings. And yes, 8 out 10 people have said it's the best. Particularly the crust is off the hook. Come on in and tell them that it isn't. Is that too much too ask? I wasn't insulting the comp., just addressing the very weak arguments about price for quality.

Read the damn posts before responding next time. Just a suggestion :spank:

True, but we're talking about pizza here.

Exactly. People have and will travel for pizza and the ice cream is developing a following of addicts itself. If you want Domino's and the like, go right ahead. Those who want the best are more than willing to pay for it. All others are welcome to graze at CiCi's or pick up a Red Baron

I've never seen duck, alligator sausage or the like on any of those other guys' pizza and Oscar's is quite generous with the toppings. People pay for quality, or at least the ones who know what they want. I work there and about 8 out of 10 people say that it was the best pizza or ice cream they ever had...and sometimes they say it about both! They are considering lunch delivery for large office orders; will update later.

Oh, and they have slices of cheese, pepperoni, and a specialty pie, with soup or salad for lunch every weekday. For $7 I believe.

Yum, Italian Pie! Apples and Oranges my friends. :rotflmao:

re: Marve????????????

He is supposedly going to USF because of a relative(dad?) has cancer and he wants to be closer to home. Of course he will have to sit out a year and will be closer to HS friends.
Didn't he get into trouble, or a alcohol related accident, in the summer, before his first year at Miami?
Sitting out a year would not be that bad, if he keeps his nose clean. He can mature (mentally/physically) and use his red shirt year (if necc.) to learn the offense, etc.
Plus he could play for an up in coming program that plays in the Big Least!
Clay Travis is the Helen Keller of Football Stuff. Lane Kiffin is the Hulk Hogan of talking tough! Everything he knows, he learned in China. That's right, Clay Travis + Lane Kiffin = Vagina. What? Vagina!

It meant that they didn't(?) crack the top 25, then lost their first four SEC games...
Just keep working, and putting it together... :geauxtigers:

LF is now Raycom.

Sure enough, which is what they called it before selling naming rights to JP/Lincoln. I guess they could not cash in this year. Thank god I haven't had to watch LSU on there in some time.

CBS's contract give them first choice on all "SEC" games, then ESPN gets seconds, and the production formerly know as Jefferson Pilot Sports (now Lincoln Financial) gets the leftovers.
BTW all games shown on ABC now have the "ESPN" production, and use "Worldwide Leader".
Of course this changes next year as the SECPN(ESPN) takes over all of CBS's leftovers.
And Lincoln is is just left out.

re: Going to Little Rock in November

My grandparents live north of Little Rock, so I've made the drive from BR hundreds of times. All the routes suck, really.
Just depends if you prefer heavy truck traffic on interstates, or the highways through towns. Pick your poison.
Plenty of hotels and easy to get around once you get to the Rock. Pretty good babybacks at the Whole Hog on Cantrell, just make sure you go to that one. :geauxtigers:
Tebow was a freshman for FL latest. He wasn't the starter but, played a prominent role.
Of course, J. Lee is only a freshmen in terms of eligibilty :geauxtigers:

yeah, my bad....just trying to help...not a bandophile
While the Falcons are in turmoil right now, the job is not that bad.
With some good personel moves things can be turned around pretty quikly in the NFL.
see -07 Packers and '06 Saints
That being said, who TF cares?
