The attempt at censorship is happening right now. The progressive response to losing the election is to cut news from Breitbart and other sites that post stories that are not flattering to their agenda.
Their goal after running a failed campaign is to shut down or limit the ability of embarrassing news to spread.

Big subs are trash, but reddit can be an incredible source of information (and entertainment) if you know how to optimize.

NPR did a 2 hour plus segment today on fake news. Some of it was fair and balanced but the vast majority was taking swings at conservatives. Main stream media is taking hits on how they have been covering news, younger viewers arent as easily fooled by these propaganda machines compared to the older generations who grew up on them as the authority, and alternative online news sources are flourishing with better journalism and content.
Therefore the Cnns, NPRs, and liberal papers are trying to kill them off their competition as fake news sources where only CNN type establishments can be the trusted name in news. The fact checkers, to know what is real or not. But this will fail because as they squeeze their hand tighter the sands of audience members flow quicker from their grasp smelling the desperation.
