It only makes sense. He's the best player on the team for next year

I think it's time to retire the #7 tradition. Guice needs to start a legacy of his own

it ended after Mathieu.

people assumed the tradition is why Fournette wears it, but he's said multiple times now it's a shoutout to the 7th ward where he grew up.

I think the torch should be passed on to him, with the right OC he may rewrite the record books.

Makes sense...as I recall, PP asked Tyrann to wear #7....I guess its just a coincidence both St. Aug(located in New Orleans' 7th Ward) guys wore #7 for different reasons

If Moses does end up coming here, he's promised it. If not, I think it should absolutely go to Guice, if not him, who else is worthy? The dude set the record for most rushing yards in a game here, beating the current #7 himself.

Nope. Guice is gonna keep number 5 so that we can retire his jersey after he wins the Heisman.

Why not leave his own legacy wearing number 5? It's not required that the best player wear the number of the last best player and this unwritten "rule" among fans is annoying as frick.

There is no such tradition. At all.

Who say's Guice wants it. We should just switch them back to their original sides of the ball.

18 was best on offense and 7 was best on defense. Everybody else make a new number hot.

It makes no sense to me. Why not make your own identity. They are different style runners.

Since when? No one ever made this a thing except for the rant.

He has made a name for himself with the #5. I would keep it.
