Why don't we offer $2 Million to Sarkisian?

If you think about it, it would be an absolute power move to snag Bama's backup plan for OC and watch Kiffin take the UH job leaving Saban for his own OC search.
In addition, you get a phenomenal play caller that is refocused and motivated to get the job done.
I really don't see why anyone is worried this guy would turn back into a raging alcoholic if he stepped foot in BR. I don't think he makes that mistake again and the risk is equal in BR or Tuscaloosa

Because Alleva is at the wheel. He'll wait until Kiffin heads to Houston and then just beat off until Ogeron puts Ensminger at OC full time.

This is what ive been saying. People ask why the frick would sark or kiffin make a lateral move to LSU. Hell, maybe they're just good frickin friends and wanna coach together again. Maybe they wanna get the band back together. Who knows. But Its not that hard to imagine

I 100% agree. Power move.
I wished Les would have hired him when he hired Aranda, and let him have complete control of the offense. Now Bama will be better next year with a soph QB and a better OC.

frick Sark. Go after Lincoln Riley. The man is 33 years old, young and motivated with an exciting offense. Right now he is only getting 850k. Offer him 1.5

After they win another NC in a few weeks, if I'm a top OC, I'm running my resume down to Tuscaloosa. Easiest job in CFB (if you can handle Saban yelling at you for only winning by 30) and it will probably lead to a HC position.

I agree, I rather hire Sarkisian over Lane. Lane would not be at LSU very long anyway. Hiring Sarkisian would secure the OC position long term.

Because we have seen how this "process" has unfolded so far. LSU will go cheap, and with someone who will not be qualified for the position. So that means that Sark, Kiffin, and even Canada will not be given an interview. My guess is that if LSU decides to interview, it will be a high school coaches.
