I prefer Popeyes but the service is so terrible, I haven't been to Popeyes in probably over 2 years whereas I can't count the number of times i've gone to Chick Fil A bc it's such a pleasant experience.
In my experience it was cyclical. They had great service, then terrible service, then good service.

Here in Atlanta their employees are diverse. Race has nothing to do with it. There are people competent enough to man a register or fry chicken with a smile in every race.

The one by me has a pretty diverse racial makeup. But every single one of the workers are polite and work efficiently. And they all have well kept appearances. Polar opposite of McDonalds or BK.
Its like Chick Fil A hires all the honor roll type students while other fast food places hire the 8th grade dropouts.

The 2 I go to (college and Millerville) has a very diverse staff.
The college one has had majority black workers the last several times I've been.

It's such a stark contrast between Chick-Fil-A and every other fast food joint.
Went to McDonalds for the first time in ages yesterday. When it's my turn I hear "What you want" after ordering "that it, drive thru"
At Chick it's always "How may I serve you today" "Thank you for your order" "My pleasure serving you today" etc.

It has to do with their culture and hiring practices, but let's be honest, the majority of kids who are hired aren't putting in their application at Burger King and Popeyes.

Chick fil A is overrated as frick.

They also have a pretty impressive college scholarship program

They also employ many retarded ('disabled') people in their restaurant. They want to be there and try to do a great job, it's very encouraging for kids to see them and understand what they / Chick Fil A are all about. As opposed to most other fast food places where low lifes that can barely speak English scream in the streets for $15.00/hr. to shove a burger in a bag.

In my experience McDonalds has far better employees than Burger King and Wendy's.

One thing I always notice is that there is always 2-3 front of house managers behind the counter and walking around at all times, supervising staff and interacting with customers.
By comparison there is usually one shift manager at BK and they are equally as lazy as the workers.

There's a good mix of all types of employees in East Texas.

The staff at the Popeyes on Gov't couldn't be nicer IMHO. I go at least a couple times a month

Must not have been to any westbank McD's.
Forgot about Wendys though, the ones around me are equally shitty as McD and BK. My local Taco Bell is pretty good though and Cane's employees are usually next best fast food workers behind Chick Fil a

I've been to a CFA that was all black employees. Not much difference in service, though I did get a spicy when I ordered a spicy deluxe.
Their corporate is pretty picky about awarding a franchise. I think potential franchisees have to go through a program that involves working in a store as a regular employee. So every now and then the person serving you food could actually be a franchise owner or applicant, which no doubt influences the staff.

I've been to Chick-Fil-A that have mostly African-American workers and it's the same there as any other Chick-Fil-A.
Short Answer: They don't put up with anyone's shite. You work or you get the frick out.
