• Charity to orphans and children.
• Belief in the Day of Judgment

Which scriptures in the Quran are consistent with the New Testament teachings? (if any)
• The Holy Koran asserts that Jesus was a HOLY PROPHET, NOT THE SON OF GOD. While the Koran describes the historic acts of Jesus (miracles, teachings, etc.), it absolutely asserts that the belief that Jesus is the Son of God is an extreme blasphemy that Jesus himself would deny.
The Jews meanwhile, are consistently upbraided for their numerous departures from the strictures of God, given to them by their prophets. The Koran does however refer to the Israelites as the Chosen Ones.
All this coverage in the media about Islamophobia has me a little stirred...
Why doesn't the media ever ask Muslim Americans what their beliefs are? It seems ISLAM's beliefs or doctrine is skipped over...and always labeled "peaceful"...There is never conversation about the religion's beliefs or the Quran.
Why is that?
Why rely on the media to enlighten you–how often do you receive reliable information from those prejudiced morons?
Instead, get a copy of the Koran yourself and read it. ADVICE: Have an Islamic interpreter available to answer your questions, you will have many.
I read the book with an imam in Florida, which made the thing more comprehensible, although the book is rife with conundrums, contradictions and passages that invite the most extreme skepticism–just like the Bible and the Torah.

It's not my job to understand Islam. I don't want to enable a delusional group of people by pretending that I want to understand them.
Go anywhere in the world where Islam is the predominant religion and tell me you'd want to live there.
Go anywhere in this country where the majority of the citizens are Muslims and tell me you'd want to live there.

Islam has a long history. We don't have to guess what's it's about or spend lots of time trying to develop a nuanced understanding of it.
Let's treat Islam as what its followers say it is....it's a threat to the West. It's a threat to civilization. A threat to the values that I and you hold dear, whether you're a conservative or a liberal.

OK, here is a thumbnail explanation of Islam. It requires an understanding of value systems.
Western Culture is based on a value system of freedom. That's why the Magna Carta was written. That's why the colonies revolted against the crown. The big advantage of this system is that it is the natural condition of humans.
Humans by nature like freedom. That's why prison is unpleasant.
The value system of Communist countries is Egalitarianism. Humans left to their own nature are dramatically unequal. Therefore, equality can only be achieved through the coercive power of the state. Thus, you have Command Economies and massive redistribution of wealth and strict limits on private property (see land reform).
The value system of Islam is Virtue. A virtuous life pleases Allah and leads to paradise. The problem is that people are not naturally virtuous. If they have free will they will choose to do bad things. Therefore, they must be forced to be good (or they will be killed).
The flaw with this philosophy is obvious to anyone with a grain of logic. There is no such thing as virtue where free will does not exist. IE, if you give a poor person 10 bucks it demonstrates the virtue of charity. If I hold a gun to your head and say "Give the poor person 10 or I'll shoot you" and you comply then you have not performed a virtuous act at all.
The Muslim philosopher Qutb realized that western culture was natural and Islam was not. Therefore he insisted that western culture = a threat to the existence of Islam and must be destroyed (Jihad).

Virtually none.
Now the Old Testament is a different story. But most people who believe that the Old Testament is part of God's inspired word still don't believe in following it literally today. It's as if modern day fundamentalist Muslims are in a time warp and have the same mentality that Israelites had 5,000 years ago.

Islam is more of a political ideology than a religion. They have a whole system of gevernance called sharia. Their goal is to systematically over take the world through Islamism, which is a kind of political jihad.
The globalists (The EU and the USA Uniparty) have manufactured the migrant crisis in order to destroy Western civilization and usher in the New World Order. We are starting to fight back through Brexit, Trump and hopefully other anti immigration victories in the coming future. Austria is voting tomorrow and France can continue our cultural renaissance by electing Marine Le Pen.
Basically Islam is incompatible with Western values and it is being used as a tool to bring the World to heel. Ask yourself why leftists defend these sexist homophobes. It makes no sense except that they are being used as a tool.
