I'm not able to listen right now, but I don't believe you. CCB has told me that 104.5 was in the tank for O and was spreading nothing but O propaganda.

CEO got the job bc he's the best option alleva had.

There is nothing to jimbo except the acc and a qb that carried him for a few years and any good defensive minded coach can win in the not so big 12 now ! Offensive minded coaches has killed that conference and you wish the thing on us ! !

Than Alleva should have never made those two his top two candidates. That means his search was a fail from the beginning because he had an unrealistic plan. He should have had other candidates lined up and had interviews.

To be fair to Jones, his record as a head coach at North Texas included conference championships and NCAA bids. Frankly, Coach O looks like a bigger risk on paper.

I'm happy with the Coach O hire, but no doubt, Alleva was all in on one coach, Jimbo. When that went south he took a stab at Herman, and from there Alleva had no plan.

If Alleva would have held off and waited until Herman spoke with Texas these same constant complainers would be ripping him for letting Herman use or play LSU to get a better offer from Texas. They would also be saying that LSU should want a coach who wants to be here and not just in it for the money! Which is exactly why he told Herman to f*@k off after having a verbal commitment from Herman to take the job - which is why I wouldn't want him now under any circumstances, hes a douche and not the kind of Coach I want reppin LSU. JMO Tho.
I do think Alleva should have approached other big name HC's to gage thier interest but nobody really knows that he didnt do that and just didnt get many bites?
