This shite is what killed the AP polls and BCS
Ranking Michigan over OSU
Ranking Michigan over OSU
quote:
“Yes, I voted Michigan higher than Ohio State. The Wolverines essentially outplayed their arch rival on the road and I don’t think the football reached the necessary 15-yard line on J.T. Barrett’s fourth-down run in double overtime. As that was the game-decided play, I appointed myself as the replay official and deemed Michigan the winner. Now, if only the College Football Playoff selection committee would do the same.”

That's not bad logic...
I still refuse to acknowledge that the Soviets beat USA in basketball at the 1972 Olympics.

It's called attention whoring for clicks.

I agree with him.

I don't agree with him, but that's not bad logic.

I can't wait for your meltdown when Ohio State makes the CFP.

It would be good logic if JT actually didn't make the first down.
It was very close, but he made it based on the rules of college football and forward momentum.

As that was the game-decided play,
Yeah, it has nothing to do with Michigan gaining 5 yards in the 4th quarter with 3 separate 3 and outs.

I don’t think the football reached the necessary 15-yard line on J.T. Barrett’s fourth-down run in double overtime.
Why wouldn't Michigan move up to second then?

Same bull shite that got bama in the BCSCG in '11.

Whats it matter? Bama will win by +17 against all these chumps.
LSU will hold the GOAT moral victory (by margin of loss)

the irrational hatred ppl have against osu has really overtaken the irrational hatred given to ND, hasnt it?

First of all, it was a first down.
Secondly, you don't get to change the outcome of the game after the facts have been presented, and Michigan has another mark in the lost column from this game.
and third, if that's his rational, then shouldn't Okie State be ranked higher than 10th in his poll since they only have 1 loss?

How is this logic any different than what OSU fans want the committee to do with respect to Penn State?
