Wow, only 4 ranked SEC teams. Only Alabama in the top 15. Pathetic year for the SEC.

Auburn beat LSU. Auburn should stay ahead. If the situation were reversed, you would all feel it would be unfair to have Auburn jump LSU.

That would be correct. We lost to both. You are what your record says you are.

If we're going by head to head, then a&m should be ranked ahead of auburn

My take:
We lost to both Florida and Auburn. Both teams not headed to the CFP that are ranked ahead of us.
Assume, Florida loses to Bama in SECCG --- they may drop a bit -- but would they drop below an LSU team that they just beat on the road?
Auburn doesn't play again --- so only comparison left between LSU and AU is head to head --- where LSU lost.
LSU most likely headed to the 4th slot.
Only exception -- if Sugar Bowl is not high on having a 4 loss team --- their best bet for selling tickets and filling the Dome is LSU --- due to excitement over new coach and proximity.
Based on rankings --- LSU is in the 4th slot, for what it's worth.
FWIW, really don't think the misses S. Alabama game "win" has any impact.

And UGA as well, it doesn't work that way. Frankly none of them deserve the Sugar Bowl, but one will go. The loss to UF is keeping LSU out...not Auburn.

Sugar Bowl doesn't like LSU. We won't be going there!!!!

We laid an egg vs FL and can't really complain now. That game, at home, is the worst loss on the season.

Don't worry UF won't be in the top 25 after Bama skull drags them

Do y'all know the Sugarbowl has no say in who makes it?

Will be interesting to see how the Championship Games impact our rankings this as well.
A Wisconsin win and Clemson loss could certainly change the way LSU and Auburn's losses are viewed by the committee.
The most intriguing aspect though is how the selection committee will weigh input from the Sugar Bowl committee, if they indicate that they would prefer one team or the other between two very closely ranked teams like Auburn and LSU will be.

It's ok AU only dropped a little in this it doesn't mean as much to the AP. We dropped 4 spots in the AP after the bama loss. So they should drop more in the CFP then they did in the AP.

if you think the sugar bowl isn't chirping in the committee's ear with who they want.

We aren't going to the sugar. Uf will lose to bama but auburn beat us straight up

My girl condi is on it. Spoke to her today about making sure LSU is ranked ahead of auburn in the final rankings.
We are all good... everyone breathe
