For all those who are happy with 8-9 win seasons, congrats we now have a coach that meets those expectations. He is also one of the lowest paid coaches in SEC, so we will get what we pay for.

I lived through the Mike Archer days, and I don't want to do it again. It's good they got him cheap, because I just cancelled my TAF membership and I will not spend another dollar supporting a program content to be mediocre. Programs like Alabama, Michigan, and Ohio State are big time and made big time hires, we found out today what kind of program we have.

Don't have them, you will be let down.

Enjoy the tailgate.

No one will care when you leave at halftime.

Actually its a very good contract as a fan. Coach O gets a shot, if hes successful he gets a raise. If he sucks hes cheap to by out and then we move on.

As far as the 8-9 win seasons go. Our hope list includes jimbo who i believe has been a pretty consistant 8-9 win coach at florida st. And tom herman who has 9 wins on the season.

So yeah im happy we took a chance

I call BS. You either arent in TAF or you dont have season tickets. I doubt you lived though the mike archer years, you may have been alive during them. Im 43 and the mike archer years were in my early teens. A mature adult does not make rash decisions like you just posted.

No one seems to remember Saban's hire to LSU and how it was not widely popular.

Im not saying coach ed is going to be great, but the proven coaches are out of reach for us.
