Has there ever been an SEC coaching stint as bad as Orgeron's was at Ole Miss? When you consider the level of talent he had to work with I'm not sure anyone has done worse. 3-21

They are exactly the same type of coach. Great recruiter and great motivator. Runs prostyle offense. Has questionable game day coaching.

BUT only one of them has actually ran a successful offense, defense, or program. Miles actually had success as an offensive coordinator and head coach.

I'd honestly rather have Les back with a new offensive coordinator

Les had multiple chances to get a great offensive coordinator and stay out of his way. He would not do that and wanted to run old school power run plays.
IF Les had changed his offense he would still be the head coach and none of this would have happened.

I was never a big fan of Miles. I am a fan of O (if he is at LSU or not). So, not in this case.

There is a difference in being excited about O and supporting the future of this team. He is the coach. Deal with it. Support these kids and this program.

So just like Saban? Did you check out Saban's COACHING BEFORE he got talent? He was losing to midmajors.

Looks like you got it arse backwards. I hated Les. I'd a preferred Jimbo but Ill give O a chance first. There's plenty reasons he's a reasonable choice the way things played out.

The way things played out?

We ate a 10 milion dollar buyout on Les Miles only to hire a failure of as a head coach in Ed Odgeron without a national search.

You do realize Odgeron lost to Florida when he had the ball on their two yard line first and 10 with two time outs in his pocket.

What is Odgeron signature win as coach of LSU that makes you say considering how things turned out?

What games as LSU head coach did Odgeron win that Miles would not have won. What teams did his coach team win that Miles team would have lost too?

Again how is LSU better today?

My experience, both on tRant (TD in general, actually) and IRL is more the opposite.

Virtually every Miles supporter that I know that now supports O were people like me who always support the LSU head coach and would have preferred a few other guys over O but will support whomever is the coach at LSU.

Some people are made that way.

Curious which coach relies on lack of talent to get him wins.

You think Saban's record is not at all impacted by Bama get top 3 recruiting classes every single year. And, no, LSU does not
