State income tax is a fricking weak arse argument if you live in a mansion....

Median Property Tax Rates By State
1 Louisiana 0.18%
2 Hawaii 0.26%
3 Alabama 0.33%
.
.
.
29 Florida 0.97%

BTW the difference in LA state income tax vs FLA is $390,000 per year at $6.5M. So he makes $6.11M(6.1 w/ proptax) instead of the $5.5M(5.45 w/ prop tax) he makes right now at FLA.

BTW. You pay property tax forever. Even in retirement. You dont pay income tax in retirement. Americans be like

The fear on this board is exactly that incompetence manifesting itself yet again....

I have no doubt that Sexton is trying to milk LSU for every cent. That is his MO.

It's Jimbos call at the end of the day.

At LSU, the spirit of Joe Dean is apparently still stronger than the logic of Mark Emmert.

LSU is gonna tighten up on Sexton's demands and move on IMO.

Last stop...that mediocre coach at UNC.

If LSU really wants Jimbo, then pay him what it takes to get him. If it's $8 mil a year then so be it. The cost of losing is going to be much greater when fans stop coming to watch this crap.

Throwing money at a coach does not guarantee a winning program...look at Ole Miss and A&M...etc...

Jimbo is far more proven than Sumlin and Freeze. He's a tier 1 coach. His résumé blows theirs out of the water.

Jimbo's record in the ACC since becoming the HC in 2010...He had one good year when Winston was not the QB. Anyone that thinks that his record would have been this good playing in the SEC West is delusional.

You reference his FSU record and Miles record. Why not show his 7 year offense at FSU side by side with LSU?

We are going to spend a fortune to get Jimbo, with a ridiculous buyout, and I just don't see a major upgrade with him. JMO.

Isnt his buyout 5 million?

Jimbo isnt a major upgrade but a relatively unproven Herman is? Fwiw, Herman isnt going to be cheap either.

Herman is ready. Jimbo is seasoned. Hiring a top candidate is going to cost but Jimbo will be more expensive. You don't want to go cheap now. Either one of those guys will be an upgrade. I like the idea of Herman for multiple reasons.
