That entire "article"was speculation. No better than the random post on here.

At the end of the day it's Jimbo's call, not Jimmy Sexton's. Does Jimbo want to sit in the ACC, where you get zero credit, and with Clemson and Louisville, titles are tougher in the ACC now.

Or, come to LSU, compete against Saban in the 'best' league , or sit and play BC, Wake, NC State, Syr, GT, and try to motivate your players all year for that.

Great coaches want to compete against the best. Plus, he just needs a fresh start.

The money can be worked out, it's just a matter if he wants to come to LSU.

You would think with as much time as we have had, this would be much smoother. Again, someone fecked up along the way if we end up with the likes of Fedora.

Old news.

Now maybe people will shut up about Random.

Now go offer Herman the same deal you offered Jimbo, and see what happens.

Except for the direct quotes from TAF members.

Why don't people understand that Sexton works for Jimbo. It isn't as if he is auctioning Jimbo off to the highest bidder against Jimbo's will.

That said, I hardly call it gouging if they are asking LSU to consider the state income tax and a housing allowance that he currently has in place.

Settle the frick down.

We're talking about paying Fisher $6 million a year and you dont think asking for a housing allowance is laughable?

So LSU is going to be priced out due to a housing allowance?

A man negotiating to coach football for $6million a year asking for a housing allowance is silly. Not hard to understand.

Well thankfully TD posters don't make that decision.

does not equal

seems like normal negotiations to me... and I believe the offer is about $6.75 million, not 6

He makes $5.2MM now and doesn't pay taxes or housing....unless Jimbo is a damn fool, I imagine he's looking at the net gain rather than his just his salary.
