Say you had $1,000 to bet on how the Saints would finish the year

Would you take the Saints at 7-9 or 9-7?

Last games are:
Rams at home
Lions at home
Bucs away
Cardinals away
Bucs at home
Falcons away

None of these teams are very good with the exception of Atlanta.

7-9

I'm really optimistic about this team but they aren't at "win every game they should" level yet

I wouldn't underestimate the Lions. I know the Cardinals have tanked their stock this year but I wouldn't feel good about having to play them during a playoff push. Also the Bucs are soaring now.

7-9, that's just what we do.

Maybe 8-8

In my mind we go 10-6 and miss the playoffs.

But I would bet this team is 9-7, which is what I said we'd be this offseason.

The last loss will be to falcons or bucs, Lions rams and cards are more inconsistent than us imo, while bucs and falcons will be a tough divisional match regardless.

starting off 0-3 has ruined this team. Then for some damn reason whenever they claw back to .500 they can't get over the hump. Had a GREAT chance to make a run after getting back to 4-4, then they drop 2 straight, one to garbage arse Carolina. It's beyond frustrating being a fan of this team. 4 of the last 5 seasons have sucked arse.

I like the young talent and think they should be a playoff team next year, but we'll see.

The NFL does not want the Saints to win enough games to make the playoffs while allowing us to win enough games to frak our draft position. These are things to consider when making your projection.

At this point to win 4 of the last 6 and finish 8-8 would be fortunate. This team is just too unstable to reasonably expect a better finish even though we are as talented as any of these teams.

I could see our game with them being a shootout and who ever has the ball last winning.

but they've also had some ugly road losses at Chicago and Houston. The Saints are way better on offense than those 2 teams so scoring shouldn't be a problem.

I think we'll lose to the Cardinals. Their defense will give our offense trouble and David Johnson might go the frick off.. more like probably will.

not buying them. They beat a bad Chicago team and an overrated KC team today. I think they are getting better but there isn't any reason we couldn't sweep them.

no they arent. Their saying if they figure out their special teams, we don't stand an effing chance against Drew Brees and the Saints.

6-10. Face the facts of it, we suck. "Bad teams find ways to lose football games", there should be a giant fluer-di-lis right next to that fkn statement. We're not a good team this year and on top of that were crippled with injuries from the onset.
