I prefer The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. I think it is Terry Gilliam's best film.

Time Bandits, though I did love Munchausen.

Brazil is a GOAT, not just for Gilliam, but for Sci-Fi and/or Dystopia films in general.

Brazil. It's my favorite movie, period. The Criterion Collection release that came out a couple of years ago is mandatory for anyone who loves the movie as much as I do. Lots of extras including the hideous "Love Conquers All" version a studio cobbled together to give it a happy ending.

Munchausen disappointed me the first time I saw it a couple of decades ago. But when I watched it last year I thought it was surprisingly good, much better than I remembered.

Time Bandits is uneven but if often brilliant.

Easily. It's a satirical masterpiece.

Effectively a trilogy of films in the grand scheme of things - Time Bandits is the most fun/rewatchable - Brazil probably the best "film" of the 3 and Baron Munchausen is the one that the ambition was there, but the execution didn't quite match up with the other elements.

I've seen Time Bandits at least half a dozen times, Brazil twice and Munchausen only once. (My wife is a Munchausen descendent, by the way.)

It has been a LONG time since I have seen Time Bandits, so I don't want to comment on it too much as I have forgotten much of it. I should probably rewatch it soon.

Brazil is a pretty great movie, but Baron Munchausen is much more watchable and easier to get into.

Ugh, I hate agreeing with Mizzoukills, but . . .

Only because of this:

Brazil
Munchausen
Time Bandits

Brazil made you feel. I also liked the 1984ishness of it. The other two movies were also great. Did the Pythoners ever make a bad movie? Even A Fish called Wanda was good enough.

Brazil is in my top 5 of all time. You can watch it 20 times and notice something new with every viewing. Clever beyond words, entertaining as well. Its certainly not one of those critically acclaimed movies that's a miserable to watch.

I liked his first movie "Jabberwockey" the best. Funny stuff...
