I don't go to movies anymore either. I'm tired of giving guys like Robert Downey Jr my money if him and his buddies are going to make commercials for obama and clinton. IDGAF who you vote for.

Its odd you say pop doesn't represent your family values. His reasons for not supporting trump were..

quote:

The disgusting tenor and tone and all the comments [during Trump’s campaign] that have been xenophobic, homophobic, racist, misogynistic, and I live in a country where half the people ignored all that to elect someone

So your family values are oposite of that?

To not watch sports because someone had a different political view than you is kind of petty. I watch sports for entertainment.

Yes turn it off and leave the country. No one wants you ignorant racist in-bred pricks. That's the whole point. Stop playing the victim, admit you're just mad because globalization didn't work in your favor. Trump won't help you in that regard, your skills are now replaced by smarter people (regardless of race or gender).

I quite a few years ago. All it is are arrogant athletes who detest their viewers. They are getting filthy rich and they hate us for the most part.

It's time to shrug.

Pops can get away with this because the customer base of the NBA agrees with him.

Goodell is just making it worse for the NFL as too many trump voters are NFL fans and ratings were already in a nose dive after Kaep.

I feel like a lot of people will be doing this - blaming Trump for a lot of bad things they or others do, and Trump absorbing all of their wrongs.

Trump will be kind of like a Jesus for assholes.

I love sports but I wish we place greater emphasis on intellectual pursuits like history and science.

The MSB is jerking off Popovich for his courage to confront the election of Trump, but I think that his outburst will not sit well with the people who buy tickets to games there.

Van Gundy and Kerr can go ahead and shut the frick up, too.

You are watching a game so who gives a flying fat cat turd about NFL & NBA atheletes, coaches, commishs, etc opinions, it is not like you are not voting for them to be POTUS.

Ppl used the same thing about The Apprentice, so you may have a point, but still you are overreacting.

I only watch saints games.

My love for the saints goes beyond what Roger thinks.

I like how goodell think his wife is so dumb that he has a responsibility to explain it to her. Another reason liberals are hypocrites. They say they're pro-women and then talk about them like they're incapable of critical analysis.

Don't forget about beer. Beer companies are major sponsors of pro sports. Don't half-arse this thing, if you're going to go for it go for it all. I'm sure you have plenty more things to stop consuming/enjoying if you break down the politics of everything in the world.

I imagine life will be wonderful for you once you cut out everything that does not align perfectly with your ideals.

Their ratings are dropping by the week. Wouldn't bother me a bit if either went the way of the dinosaur.
