Heading to the lease Sunday morning to finish brushing blinds and run some mudded up ditches. Haven't seen any birds to warrant wanting to hunt yet. Gonna wait a few more weeks before making a hunt on the lease. The coastal season shouldn't start till december and then run into February. The last few years all the big ducks have showed up after the first of the year.

Headed down to PAC this afternoon. Heard some mixed reports. Hopefully we will have a few birds and then hammer the trout. I'll check in with y'all Saturday.
Good luck!

Saw a video this morning from south of Gibson that has me rethinking my decision not to hunt this weekend I think this little cold front pushed down a bunch of birds.

4 ducks on our entire lease wednesday
good bit of birds in the limited access areas though. I'm just not sure I want to deal with all the kids in their dads gator tails 15 yards away hail calling like last year

Is that really what that place has become? That's a shame.
