Good for you HB. Just exactly was his reasoning for wanting the signs at 500 feet if the law says otherwise?

The guy is about 70 years old, tall, and this really sort of surprised me. He kept telling me he did everything legally, and I challenged him on knowing the law, as I also had previously been an election judge for the county and knew where to put the boundary for electioneering.

My guess is he's a Democrat because my ID clearly shows that I'm a Republican poll Watcher. I can't say anything in the polls. Just observe, and if I notice anything out of the ordinary (which I did) I'm only supposed to address it with the judge, nobody else (which I followed). I'll be leaving in a while but will take a pic outside and post.

Why do you doubt this happened? I believe hubba bubba. Where I vote while I was just trying to find an open spot to vote some weird arse sound alarm went off. I heard some male voice say something about "Electioneering" One of the men on the ballot (Woody White) was actually at this small poll place) he was welcoming people and people were handing out his stuff. I guess someone complained and they moved him down the walkway more. It was ridiculous. My city in democrat.

Out of now where ON VOTING DAY here in NC there were suddenly new places to vote. They had a park, a bingo hall Moose Lodge and where I vote all within 1 mile of each other.

Exactly the same thing happened here in AL. What does your state's statute have to say on the matter? Here is the cliff notes version of the AL case:

510 So.2d 190Supreme Court of Alabama.Ollie KIEL, et al.v.Thomas J. PURVIS, as Sheriff of Mobile County, et al.85–996.June 19, 1987.Individuals sought declaratory and injunctive relief from operation of local law which prohibited distribution of election campaign literature within 600 feet of polling place on election day. The Circuit Court, Mobile County, Braxton L. Kittrell, J., denied relief and individuals appealed. The Supreme Court held that: (1) local law violated section of State Constitution prohibiting special laws which provide for conduct of elections; (2) local law violated section of Constitution which prohibited laws enacted for purpose provided for by general law; and (3) determination that local law was invalid pursuant to State Constitution negated necessity of determining whether local law violated equal protection clause.Reversed and rendered.Houston, J., concurred in result.

Kiel v. Purvis, 510 So. 2d 190 (Ala. 1987)

Where in Denton County?

That's where I live and I didn't see any Trump signs when my SO and I voted early.
