I still don't see how anyone can blame refs

I've come to the realization that this fan base will blame refs no matter how great of a game they call.

I can't remember a game where the refs allowed the teams to just line up and play football quite like this one. If I recall, the first penalty didn't come until some time mid-late 2nd quarter. I was thoroughly impressed with this crew.

Anyone who bitches about the Hurts run, if you watch any play, you will see holding. It's part of the game, it gets called if it's obvious. Would take this crew over a Ritter crew.....

The refs sucked but weren't the reason we lost.

Get over yourself.

It's easier to blame the refs than actually admit that LSU just ain't that good when it comes to playing great teams.

It makes our fans look pathetic.

Bama got some calls. It's the SEC, you get the calls when you're elite. Used to help us all the time.

Teach me how to post an image and I will send you a still shot. You will understand...

Vern even pointed out how they were holding ARDEN KEY so Hurt could make his td.

Yes there is often holding on most plays, but to have three blatant holds and no sign of a call...

Alabama was the better team, but you're in denial if you don't admit they get the calls. Specifically the non targeting on Etling, the disparity in personal fouls, the fumble that was ruled down, and especially the multiple holds on the Hurts touchdown that weren't called.

When was the last time a blown call cost Bama a game in the SEC? Referees make mistakes, but when the mistakes always favor one team, every time they play...

I love the self righteous LSU fans, won't acknowledge getting fricked in the arse bc that would be pussy. Better to grin and bear the sodomy.

Everyone knows Bama was better so put away your straw man. But--get this--it is possible to acknowledge Bama's superiority while ALSO criticizing incompetent officiating! Sure it takes a little more mental effort but I'm confident you could do it.

Does anyone have a clip of the not fumble on 4th down which Riley took back for a TD? Looked like a fumble at the game and they briefly showed a replay.

Here is the WHLE deal... If somehow LSU would have won 10-0 and the TD they scored was aided by A non call, It would be OK and not talked about........ FACT!

Your point would make more sense if White wasnt flagged for bumping their QB in bounds. A call that led to their TD.

Bama was def the better team most of the day. But if you're going to let the guys play then don't call the late hit on White when the dude barely touched Hurts with one step out of bounds. Those are killers and if you're going to call it then call it both ways.

This issue is that if holding is called they do not score their only touchdown and face a third and 19. Do we still lose? Probably. But it sure changes the equation for the fourth quarter.

Oh, and it was obvious. I saw it from 70 yards away as the play was happening. Does not get more obvious than that. The picture posted earlier is excellent. 3 holds. There is no way a flag should not have been thrown.

Holding can be called on every play but is generally only called when it is blatant and or directly affects the play. The holding Scarborouh dos on the Hurts TD met both criteria. That cost us 4 net points
The late hit on Etling after he slid cost us q continuation of a drive and at least 3.
The offsetting personal fouls were the difference in at least 3. (I still can't find what 65 did to warrant a flag on us)
The late hit that was granted against us maintained a drive for them
The intentional grounding call that took us out of FG range cost us 3.

Its an easy cop out when you lose.

The officiating crew from last night was not good.

Some bad calls but they didn't decide the game. No big deal.
