Do parents get sloppy drunk in your neighboorhood during trick or treating?

Just wondering. I've seen more than a few occasions where the kids are acting more mature than the adults.

Yes. So do I.

So did my parents and their friends when I was a kid.

And so on and so forth back to the beginning of Halloween

I didn't notice any.

I sit in the front yard with a beer or 2, but I don't get sloppy.

I didn't see anyone drunk. I did see quite a few drinking though.

I'll have a drink while sitting at the driveway handing out candy. Neighbors will have a glass of wine. Guy up the street invited everyone over after the trick or treaters to drink wine (new family who wanted to meet everyone). But nobody is "drunk".

I didn't see anyone sloppy in our neighborhood but just about all of us had a drink in hand. I poured 2 beers in a Yeti cup and walked our daughter around.

Once saw a drunk guy driving a golf cart nearly take out a kid a couple years ago. This was in an upper class neighborhood. It was incredibly disappointing. Maybe I'm just trick or treating in the wrong neighborhood.

Yep.

I have no issue with someone drinking. I don't want the whole street smelling like week.

Don't care if people smoke personally, it just makes the whole area stink

Uh, no.

I live in a decent neighborhood with upstanding citizens who care about each other and who don't lose control. We all work, save, care for our property, give to others, and watch COPS episodes to know how not to act.

I'm not really worried about anyone but myself so I couldn't tell you. I take care of me and my family. Next time I'll be sure to focus more on other people, every move they make, judge their actions, then report to the OT.
