Last time game day came when it was Veterans Day, the old front nine got fricked.

LSU was out there 3-4 days in advance last time laying down crushed limestone for the road for the semis to unload, tried to dress up the oaks with mulch as much as possible, mow grass, etc...then afterwards had a few thousand in repairs to make.

Where would they put the Heisman House setup at?

The side of Touchdown Village? have people cross the creek?

So are you saying that Gameday should adjust their setup location on the Parade Ground or time of the broadcast?

I would prefer Gameday DIAF. They add nothing to my LSU experience.

Evidently you've never attended the LSU Salutes ceremony. LSU officials ask for silence. No music or loud generators allowed. Needless to say, Game Day would "ruin the mood". It's not about grassed space.

I thought they would have reached a resolution by now. Maybe ESPN is unwilling to budge from Parade Ground. I know LSU would have to prep the site if old front nine.

A buddy mentioned them doing a site check at the old front nine yesterday. They do these for various locations but it seems likely it gets moved there now. I believe Heisman house is already being set up at the parade ground.

I tweeted Cody Worsham (Tiger Rag) last night and this is what he sent me.

?@CodyWorsham
@LSUGoose it'll be on the parade grounds. They've worked out some sort of time and space share with the cadets.

Maybe for Veterans Day they will work in parts of the ceremony on Game Day?

Ugh. I just think this is a terrible idea and will absolutely ruin that tailgating atmosphere there. Gameday should just move.

How about inside Bernie Moore track stadium. Good floor, easy in and out.

Maybe they can fire a "ceremonial" artillery piece towards Kirk - he's the large orange man with blonde highlights - and take out the entire collection of dipshits all at once. Somebody warn Desmond, but otherwise they can all take a hike.

This will be a cluster frick. Was going to say the quad, but the clearances wouldn't work. They need to dumb down their Game day broadcast. I loved it from 93-10. Cannot believe LSU basically said screw the vets. LSU was founded as a military school.

That solves it! Let the ceremony take place at the old pentagon buildings downtown near the capitol.
