Woman charged in UA sorority fraud held $235,000 in shoe box inside her closet

Federal prosecutors are asking U.S. District Judge Madeline Haikala to sentence Jennifer Elizabeth Meehan to 20 months in prison, according to a sentencing memorandum from the U.S. Attorney's Office. Meehan's attorneys, however, are asking for no prison time with three months home confinement, 400 hours of community service, 2 years of probation, no fine, and no more than 1 year of supervised release.

234K doesn't fit in a shoe box, I know because I've seen a shoe box and 234k both at the same time before.

She is an idiot. Saying things like that tends to piss off Federal Judges. I see an upward departure from the prosecutors recommendation in her future.
