If you eve have issues with them they are simple to fix and re-lube. I buy broken ones for $30-50 all the time and fix them and re-sell for $150 or so. The professionals go for $250-350 used.
( i prefer the models with the lifting bowl to the tilt top models like the Artisan. Nothing wrong with the Artisan or classic, just I think the Professional and the Pro and the 6000 are better built)

I bought the pasta attachment and twice I made some great pasta with it. That was over a year ago. I made sausage once with the sausage maker. I do use the meat grinder a bit. I say that is my favorite attachment.
If you can get an old Mixer with the Hobart logo on it you have done well.

so you like the $700 mixer better than the $350 mixer. You don't say?

to me I have never paid more than $50 for a mixer and I have three we use and dozens I've sold. Not really getting into the money side. Just the artisans use brushed motors (that's what is behind the black screws on the sides) the others use brushless motors. The artisans use a mechanical governor that can get wonky if it gets flour and dust on it, the others use electronic sensors.
Now the commercial models with their all in one motors and transmissions, those are the bomb. More a Hobart than a Kitchenaid.
(My bad it's my favorite appliance, no matter what field you are in there is a subset of that field that you are really into. Mine is mixers. )

on the meat grinder. Example, I like to make a really spice giblet gravy for holiday meals. Try getting the gizzards ground at the local Kroger. Ain't happening.

on the bottom of every mixer their is a sticker with the model number (different than the model number on the trim ing) go to "sears parts direct" and enter that model number in the "model number search field" and it will give you parts break downs. You can then get the part number for any part you need. While it's just a bowl, if you search by that part number you are assured that it will fit your machine. The bowls work with a lot of different machines so likely a newer bowl works for you

This will be my next investment for my KitchenAid. Is there a way I can purchase an additional mixing bowl like the original bowl that came with the mixer as well as the mixing paddle and wisker?

I like it, but $90 (33 shipping) is a high buy in. Fixed it's worth around $400 as its a full on commercial model. That would be a $2500-3000 mixer new for something like that.
But you can get them cheaper. I had gotten a four foot tall Hobart free from a restaurant just to haul it off. One bad $40 gear set and it sold to another restaurant for $650.
(I just bid it up to $63)

Bought my wife it and a ravioli pan a while back and have enjoyed her use of both. The pasta cutters work good as well.

I had a step by step food board post of the lasagna I made with it. You do get perfect pasta. The you just hang it up to dry and keep it in a container or zip-locks. Or keep it fresh in the fridge.
