Ebay deals has a deal running that i couldn't refuse. Manufacturer refurbs for $180 with free shipping. If you already own one, what's the deal with the attachments for them? What would you recommend?

The meat grinder is nice if you're into that kind of thing.
Get the dough kneader that's a spiral not the hook, it works a lot better. And the paddle with scraper on both sides is available on Amazon and gives a better and faster beating.
I don't have it, but the pasta roller looks awesome. As does the ravioli maker. If you can afford it, that seems like a great tool.

That is a hell of a deal. You should definitely purchase. I recently bought one as a wedding gift and paid full price.

every person i have talked to that is more than your week night chef says the kitchenaid attachments are severely lacking.

I got an attachment that makes spirals out of vegetables. It is great for low carb, use it to make zucchini noodles all the time.

no idea. Usually 24 hours or before they sell out. I look at Ebay deals all the time. They're the new Woot except they always have free shipping and take Paypal.
