Seems to me it was pretty big. we really could have used him in Whisky and Auburn games. Gimore is ok, but TV is a disappointment, and Lawrence is coming along, but not there yet.

Not very at all. I mean, he would have added some depth but LaCouture was never an impact player or anything. They were trying to find a role for him in this defense and moved him away from NT to DE because they felt like he couldnt handle NT. I dont think he's even starting if he's healthy, certainly not in front of Neal or Godchaux.

Lol we still have like 8 guys playing on the D Line not counting the two we moved to OLB

Lac would have helped but our D Line has stayed fresh all year.

It certainly didn't help. I'm hoping he returns next year. Anybody have any insight on his plans?

You can never have enough quality experienced DL depth.

We'll get a better idea of the impact from his loss as we close out the season with this 5 game gauntlet.

Now that the offense can actually sustain some drives and keep the defense off the field it's not as big. We needed a 16 deep rotation it seemed like with all the 3 and outs we've had in the past couple of years. When your offense can control the TOP it really helps the defense stay fresh and that will be huge in the games we have coming up.

Bigger than I thought it would be BUT the defense has still been very good. It's just tough because he was an experienced, solid guy and depth on the DL is always welcome, even if someone challenged him for snaps.
