Like I said on here a few weeks ago, it's gonna be hard for him to be motivated to play after how the first month of the season went. I really hope he comes back for the OM game, but if he doesn't Guice is nice

Weathersby and Moreau are retiring from football to be part of LF's entourage.

Yeah he just needs time to let his ankle heal up. Think we see him Bama game at the latest.

I think he'll get a few snaps vs southern Miss. There are some new plays and variations of old ones he needs to learn.

At least 5 snaps in with Guice to give ole miss something to think about.

Lf7 practicing is what got us into this mess. Lf7 did not need to practice 1 single day this entire year. Lf7 would be healthy now if he just played the games.

A very frustrated sounding Orgeron when asked about his status..."I don't know...next question".

What does that tell you?

I'll be shocked if he plays another down in an LSU uniform.

Oh for fricks sake. Maybe he's tired of having to answer that question every damn time.

I don't think he's close to coming back.

All I'm saying is I think the injury may be more serious. Nothing against Fournette. I feel bad for him. Really though, what does he have to play for? He's a top 5 draft pick. Why risk making the injury worse?

But. There is word on the street that his lack of playing isn't entirely driven by injury and was a coaches decision.

the coaches are not only preventing him from playing but practicing also?

Jesus tap dancing Christ, you people amaze me. LF7 has only given 110% every time he has stepped out on the field.

When he has healed 100% he will be back and running over people.

I've "heard" we may not see him for the rest of this year. This is coming from a good friend of mine who knows a player on the team.

This player may or may not be accurate as he is not LF or a team doctor.

When was this? He literally answered this question at lunch today:

quote:

“I don’t know if he’s going to play this week,”

Orgeron said at his weekly press luncheon.

“I talked to (head athletic trainer) Jack (Marucci). He’s going to do some things this week. He’s getting better. I would list him as questionable right now.”

It was the presser after the game was cancelled. The "Christmas" reference one. I didn't see his presser today so I stand corrected. Glad to hear he may play again.
